Special audio output couplers permits the i2 bus 2-wire video system to support mixed modes with ELCOM audio telephones.

This permits residential property companies to provide their tenants with a needs-oriented offering. Residents with high security needs can be provided with a video intercom, while tenants who find audio communications sufficient can be provided with audio intercoms.
